LUI CHEST OF DRAWERS

This chest of drawers was primarily an attempt to celebrate the beautiful pine wood grains and colours, and external handles were avoided to showcase the elegant wooden texture - a push-pull mechanism did the trick. The difference in the colour of the wood after natural matte finish elevated this minimal fascia into a work of art. The pine wood fascia contrasted, and complemented, the dark carcase stained in teak or mahogany beautifully.
